History and strong points

Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI from 1974 Euro version. 1,010 units built by the company that year, of which less than 600 were European versions. Worthy successor to the 1973 Carrera RS from which it inherited the entire powertrain, the brakes, the 911/83 engine, the gearbox, the tires and even its reduced weight of just under 1050 kg. Manufactured in 1974, this 911 Carrera 2.7 was produced for the Belgian market where it was used as a street car until 1980 when it was prepared for competition and was acquired as “customer racing” by the Spanish driver Paco Orti, with a very slight preparation. which basically included a 6-point safety arch and body and bumper widening elements. Paco Orti competes in the Levante rally championship in 1984, becoming champion that same year. In 1985, he competes in the Spanish National Rally Cup, which includes six events. The current owner acquired it in 2010 and kept it since then until its complete restoration that took place from 2017 to early 2018. During its restoration, they have ensured that this Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 received the most exquisite treatment possible. Completely restored by the Spanish company Rennen Sport Evolution s.l. The 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI “Mechanical Fuel Injected” was completely disassembled, taking its body to clean sheet metal, it was completely restored incorporating a multitude of new original parts acquired through the best specialists Porsatecnic S.L., CM stores, 911 design UK official Porsche dealer in Valencia, the engine, the transmission and especially the MFI injection was completely disassembled and restored, so it is in perfect working order. The exterior is finished in the same “Grand Prix White” R3 code with which it left the assembly line in 1974, with a sober cabin finished in black and maintaining the original extras of rear spoiler, fog lights and Koni suspension that They made up the factory team. Thanks to all this, this “old warrior” has come back to life, just as he came off the assembly line, but unlike his peers, he has known the glory that only champions enjoy.
