Chassis Elva Mc Laren 1965 Restoration in Switzerland and bodywork adaptation by Franco Sbarro new Chevrolet canam 650 hp engine New F1 Hewland gearbox New Brembo wheels / brakes .... you will find attached some elements on my Mc Laren Canam. it is an original chassis, unique in the world, built by Elva Mc Laren in 1965, at the request of Luigi COLANI: famous German designer, to work on a new concept. This chassis was therefore not used in races, it remained intact, while L Colani had to prepare a body for it. In 2006, I bought the car and asked Franco Sbarro to adapt one of my LOLA T 298 bodywork. The body type LOLA is thinner, but a new body type Mc Laren M10 B to get back on the chassis ... Then I have an engine, like the original, worthy and efficient new Chevrolet V8, fitted by my preparer, Base High performance small block 5, 9 L 650 CV Special crankshaft 1000 to 1500 CV, balanced in Belgium, dragster type forged pistons; H-rods roller plungers .... modern electronic boxes New Hewland FG 400 gearbox, conforms to the original. Everything is new ... For safety: New Brembo brakes, 3-part removable aluminum rims (instead of the original magnesium rims) body support width Ar 2m / Av 1m96 Wheelbase 2m33 Interest: collection (Luigi Colani / bodywork modification by Sbarro ...)
